Kay-Elle Trip
Sunday, February 22, 2009 23:49

As mentioned in my previous post, I went to kay-elle on Thursday for a 'two days' trip. Since I missed the first time going to KL, I went there together with Daniel and Toufu this time. Been telling Edward that I'll be meeting him in KL few days back. So it was 9am when we departed from Ipoh's railway station and I didn't know it was a 3 hours journey. Gosh!

Reached KL Sentral at around 12pm and we were really hungry. Nothing much in KL Sentral thou besides fast food, fast food and more fast food! So we ended up in KFC having 2 Snack Plates and another plate of the chicken rice thingy for Toufu. It was my first time in KL Sentral thou.

Had lunch and went to YMCA, kept our stuffs and since we only had appointment with one of the agents in the evening, we hanged out in our room. We helped YMCA to do some makeover thou and started playing "Big Two". ROFL, Aaron playing "Big Two"?! Seriously, the two of them actually taught me from scratch. Recieved a text message from Edward after that, his classes were over and we went and met him at KL Sentral. And yea, I realised there are like many blind people in KL. I had been in KL for only two days and I saw over 10 blind people already.

So anyway, we met up with Edward and went to...

It was my first time there too and yea, stuffs there are just too expensive for us. Seriously, the only thing I can afford to buy there is ROTIBOY! We walked around, Edward took us around and he asked us to stood still to feel some vibration or something. Haha, and we went to this bookstore which is so so HUGE! You can find all sorts of books there man! Forgotten what's the name of the bookstore already. Found this book called "The Facebook Book". Cool uh?

We spent most of our time there cause that particular bookstore is just so HUGE! I looked out the window and I saw this view...

I was like "Woah, cekap wei that place!" and I made Edward brought us down to that place and we started to camwhore. Pity Edward man, he was like so busy taking us around and he was so hungry that he went and grabbed a burger from Burger King I think.

Done camwhoring and we took the LRT and went to Wangsa Maju if I'm not mistaken. Went to Wangsa Metroview to meet up with the agent and to have a look at the houses there. We went to one of the condos there where a few Africans were renting the place. Went in to have a look, the place was okay I suppose but it was a lil bit too small and the area is not too satisfying. So we did not really consider renting that place.

The agent took us to the Townhouse next, which is also in Wangsa Metroview and it is just next to the condo. This place looks more classy but the design is kinda weird, very weird indeed! It's like you have two lower storeys and then you have three more storeys above it which is a different unit. Went in and have a look and as I mentioned, the design is kinda weird so there will surely be difficulties considering where you wanna have your stuffs arranged.

One thing good about Wangsa is that it's convinient, you have like lots of shops just a few metres away but to get to UTAR, we have to walk quite far towards the LRT station and the rental is not that reasonable too in my opinion.

That was just about it for the first day. Went out again at night to KLCC and Sungei Wang and we were like so tired. Went to Sungei Wang cause I was looking for the Superman tee.

We weren't in the mood to walk. We just wanted to get back to YMCA, bath and rest. We were like taking the LRT up and down that night. Tiring trip but we still managed to camwhore in the LRT.

Went back home, watched American Idol and slept. Woke up early in the morning for breakfast at YMCA and we were still hunting for Superman tees and belts. LOL! Went to Sungei Wang again and we found these Nike shoes for only RM50. Walked around and it was time to meet another two agents that took us to Melati to have a look at the Penthouse. My friends in Kampar had been mentioning bout this place and I finally had the chance to see how that place looks like.

That place is not that bad after all. Cool views and stuffs but the rental is a bit too expensive thou. We'll get this settled I'm sure.

It was a rush, met up with another agent right after that. The agent who is in charge with the Townhouse in Wangsa Metroview. Man, this agent is driving a Toyota Wish and he has this LCD player thingy in his car. When I first saw him, I had this feeling of studying real hard so that I could be someone really successful. Haha, as in having my own car and stuffs.

Headed back to YMCA after that. We were like so so thirsty that we went and get Slurpee but still it wasn't enough. Found this Ais Kacang stall right in front of 7/11 and we decided to try. The aunty and uncle there damn good man, they'll give you a BIG cup of coconut or lime juice for a very reasonable price!

Went back to YMCA to get our luggage and headed to KL Sentral for the 5.50pm train back to Ipoh.

3 days...
Saturday, February 21, 2009 22:03

It was Sunday. She came down to Ipoh and decided to be here for three days. So, the three days meant alot and I'm sure it really does mean alot to both of us. We might not have fun or exciting stuffs to do in Ipoh but those time spent together are priceless. Minor stuffs happened, stuffs like arguements or communication breakdown. But once again, I take them as challenges in life. I always said "Everything happens for a reason", I say so and I believe so! And for me, after these 3 days together, I believe we understand each other better thou. Praise God!

We had lunch together, walked around together and all these really meant alot. Not forgetting that we went for this movie at TGV on Tuesday. We were like standing in front of the screen and thinking what movie to watch. I promised her that I'll take her out for a movie and those movies were like Pink Panther 2, Ong Bak(or whatever the name is), Valkyrie, Underworld 3 and more Malay and Chinese movies. She wanted to watch Pink Panther 2 thou but yea, it was fully booked and then we had some problems with the other movies too so we ended up watching...

Oh God, a wrong decision. I should've known that the movie aint suitable! Argh, was kinda sad and hated myself thou but once again, "Everything happens for a reason" and that will not happen for the second time!

Sent her back to Kampar on Wednesday and once again, her trip to Ipoh for that 3 days really meant alot. Praise God once again as it's already 75 days now! And it's getting stronger day by day! <3

Valentines...
Sunday, February 15, 2009 13:52

14th of February 2009 and it was Valentine's Day. Friends just reached Kampar at 12am the same day and I was slightly worried if Valentines would be according to plan. You know, after a tiring and exhausting trip to KL, plans might just change just like that. But thank God, things turned out to be better than I expected them to be!

I slept early the night before cause you know, I was bored to death in Ipoh! And even till 9am, I was still asleep. A text message woke me up and it was from her, and she told me she'll be reaching Ipoh in 15 minutes. I was like "WOW!", jumped right up, cleaned up and met her at McD. Headed to Sentosa after that for breakfast with Toufu and Lui Gor. Heard lots of stuffs from their trip to kay-elle. And I was laughing when Toufu said "Aaron's spirit is still with us" when they were in KL and I wasn't there with them. LOL?!

Went back home, washed up and headed to Jusco. Saw a few people in Jusco thou and the traffic was just teruk! Biasa'la Saturday and it was Valentine's Day! Gosh! Walked around in Jusco and we went to:

She got me these 2 collar tees and I'm loving them! Thanks so so much! <3 And I got her some stuffs as well, hope she likes it. Walked around and it was lunch time. Went all the way to town for lunch and we had tou fu fa which she likes so much. And went back to Jusco, this time with my mom since she wanted to get some stuffs. Went back, had some rest and it was already dinner time! Gosh, time flies especially when you're having fun =P Had to send her back to Kampar after dinner cause she'll be having some Soft Skills thingy today and I seriously appreciate everything she did for me. Seriously, seeing her sleeping in the car made me realised lots of stuffs. So anyway, guess we'll be seeing each other very soon! =D

Love ya! <3

Everything happens for a reason...
Friday, February 13, 2009 17:17

OMG! I've only been in Ipoh for two days but it feels like 2 years! Friends are still in KL and I was like thinking, I gotta get myself something to do. I can't just sit in front of my lappie going online the whole day! And you know what? My handphone hardly beeps too. LOL! Waiting for my "buddies" to be back from KL and we'll be hanging out soon! Gotta hang out with them already. Phero, Edward, Jmay, Kyen, Jo...come back fast! (I have this feeling that I'm gonna get screwed by them =P)

Even Xtung messaged me on msn yesterday and asking me to tell her if I wanna hang out with her since she'll be leaving soon. OMG, I have plenty of time but I don't know where to go! Haha, today was kinda weird. I had this feeling to head back to my Alma Mater. Everything were all planned up properly and when I wanted to drive out, something went wrong with the air-conditioning system. So I gotta drive the car to some place near Fair Park, I was 'effing' frustrated kay? It's like so freaking boring at home, it is a weekday and my Ipoh friends are all still in KL. I wanted to drive back to SMI and the air-conditioning system went wrong. I was like WUDDAHELL?! I asked that guy how long it'll take to fix this mess and you know what he told me? "Owh, this is something really serious and it'll take me at least 2 hours to fix it". I was like "Yeah, GREAT! I won't have the time to visit SMI also!". But yea, I always believe that everything happens for a reason. I did not go to KL for a reason, my friends aren't here for me for a reason, the car's air-conditioning system went wrong for a reason and maybe I couldn't go to SMI for a reason.

Didn't wanna bother much. But somehow I met this guy who had something wrong with his air-conditioning system as well. well, he's a Punjabi and he really reminds me bout my buddy, Phero. Haha, this man is really cool man. He drives this white Perdana and he's bald and he was wearing this 'cool-and-cekap' sunglasses. He came right up to me and asked "What's wrong with your car?" and the conversation just carried on and on. He has a son in UTAR as well, so we have something in common. Been talking bout our future, boy's behaviour and stuffs. And they really make sense. 2 hours passed just like that! I was like "Cool man!" cause all this while, time passes so slow to me. The clock shows 1.45pm which means I still have time to visit my buddies in school.

Went back to my second home-the Scout Den. Haha, was so glad to see my friends there. I even saw Wei Hoe and Andrew. So we were like talking, talking and talking. Those guys who were once my juniors are all grown up now. Time flies, it really does. It was like just two years back when my batch was running the troop and now they are instead. I even joined them in this meeting which really made me feel old. I was like so outdated man! Haha, and they were there trying to keep me updated.

I entered the Scout Den and then the Council room. Gosh, the memories started flushing back into my head. I started to think back bout the past, recalling everything we did when we were there few years back. Those times when I get screwed, those times when I used to screw others and more. Sweet memories, sad memories, am still appreciating all those time we had together. Came back home having mixed feelings, am happy yet sad. So anyway, came home and started browsing through those photos we took since 2003 and I've managed to compile a few of these photos to be posted right here.

When we were having our 8km journey for our Usaha log, or was it 6km.

We were all PLs and PSs back then

Remember when we used to have stuffs every Friday?

The marching competition in Kampar

When we were running the troop by ourselves

And we were about to leave the troop

Remember the Campfire we organized in 2007?

And we left the troop...

till now...

What's left are just memories to be cherished

So yea, many stuffs were playing around in my head. But at least, today is way better. Maybe because I get to socialize with people a bit. Haha, friends will be heading back to Kampar later at 9pm. Have a safe journey k? Will be having a game or two of DotA one of these days in Infinity, hurry up and get back Phero! =P And I think I'm gonna sleep now cause I still have nothing to do! LOL! And it's Valentine's tomorrow. Lets see if everything turns out fine. Missing her =(

I wanna be in Kay-Elle...
00:17

Woohoo, Semester Break! And you know what? I'm not that happy after all. I kinda prefer those times when we were having exams. LOL! Why? Cause at least I get to hang out with my friends till like 3-4am?

My friends are all in Kay-Elle and I'm like missing all the fun! LOL, but I cant blame anyone thou. Since it was my mom's birthday yesterday so I gotta spend time with her right? But seriously in Ipoh, I rather join my friends in KL. What did I do for these two days? I woke up late, breakfast, online, lunch, online, online, ONLINE! Man, I'm rotting here! Even right now! How nice if I get to join my friends there in KL, at least Semester Break wont be that boring!

I accompanied my cousin to the railway station last afternoon and he was taking a train to KL. Omg! I really wanted to get a ticket on the spot and follow him right to KL, since the ticket is like RM10. Haha. And I'm missing my friends =( and somehow I couldn't find anyone in Ipoh that I could hang out with. Gosh!

Anyway, thanks for the phone call yea guys? At least I realised something that I should've realised earlier. Have fun in KL yea people? And you know something? I've never been so bored in my life that I had been playing RO for the past "dont-know-how-many-hours"!

8th February 2009!
Sunday, February 8, 2009 14:43

Today is the 8th of February 2009! I got a photo from her few days back and that particular photo meant so much.

Yeap, it's the expiry date thingy that you could find coming with those Gardenia bread? And this particular loaf of bread is expiring today which is the 8th of February 2009! So you might be wondering, it does not mean anything to you if the bread expires today right? But it does to me, cause 8th of February means that we've been together for officially 2 months now.

2 months and there have been many times where we argued bout lots of stuffs but I'm sure we're arguing less already right? Many times you've been there for me whenever I needed someone but there are many times I couldn't be there for you when you needed me in return. And from there, many things come up. Am sorry for letting all these things happen but yea, I'll change.

Been thinking bout lots of stuffs these days too but yea, am really happy to be with you and the rest I guess they're better left untold. Will talk to you more when we meet tomorrow kay? Thank you for everything once again! <3

Exams are just KILLING ME!
14:41

Okay, I've not been updating my blog lately due to my examinations. Exams are on and the last paper would be on Tuesday I guess. So it had been a very hectic week last week. Hectic, tired and HELPLESS! No pics during exam week thou, I don't even have enough time to finish studying! But I have a few photos. Generally, this sem is way more hectic as compared to the previous sem. We were like studying till 5.30am to 6.00am everyday and the exams were at 9.00am everyday. Thank God they were at 9.00am. At least we managed to get ourselves some rest! So ever wondered what we did?

That's the living room, and the table we used to study. And you can spot Fye Yeh and Jia Huei in this pic. Spotted anything else? Anything unusual perhaps? Anything you see that are not supposed to be in the living room?

Okay, now you see Daniel in the photo and that is not the point! Haha, see the four mattresses stacked up together? And they were in the living room throughout the study week. I guess they're still there right now.

So here you are. The mattresses! They were like our Saviour man! We used them to study every night. How we studied you asked? We were lying down on the mattresses and studied at the same time. And if you were wondering, 2 mattresses are from the unoccupied room on the first floor and the other 2 are from Daniel's room. So, we decided to have some fun when we first came up with this idea of bringing these 4 mattresses out.

Sandwiched! Okay, I admit I admit. We were dumb, we were childish but that was the only way to keep us awake! Haha, this sem was different like what I mentioned earlier. Last sem we had like 4 of us studying together and this time we have Fye Yeh, Adrian and God! Woohoo! More people, more fun! Which means more time studying to replace the time we wasted fooling around and of course...less sleep! Seriously, staying up till 5.30am everyday is not an easy task k?! With the cool and quiet environment, there is no way...NO WAY you could stay awake. So what kept us awake?

Owh man, NESCAFE does! This 'brown-coloured-good-smelling liquid' is like a catalyst man! Special thanks to Danish House for having 2 vending machine where the other one is useless. Totally USELESS and it even 'swallowed' my one buck and did not 'vomit' it back out. Cool! So yeah, drink two cups of hot mocha and they'll keep you awake till 4am!

So, 5 down and the last paper will be on this coming Tuesday. The papers are seriously really tough man! Oh gosh, won't wanna talk bout the past too. So, good luck for the remaining papers kay? Tcare and God Bless!
