Chinese New Year & Exams!
Thursday, January 29, 2009 23:30
It's Chinese New Year! Woohoo! Am I supposed to be happy? Haha. Seriously, there were like so many problems this week. Was sick, had fever and I thought it'll be fine after a game of badminton. Alright, sent Daniel a text message and we were off to stadium. Dah la kena bully by this uncle there and for your information, this uncle did not pay, did not book a court or anything and he was playing on this court which we booked earlier. Okay so I went up to him, he saw me and said "OK OK, mali main. Saya kasi lu orang warm up". I looked at Daniel and we actually played with this man te whole time till Jyi Haow came.
Went back home and I felt worse, thought I would feel better after sweating though. Went to the doc and she said "Aaron, I suspect it's dengue cause you're having a very high temperature. I'm afraid you'll have to do a blood test". GONE! Dah la Aaron paling "takut" injection. Haha. Waited for the report from Gribbles that night and they called. Thank God it was dengue negative. Had sore throat the next day. OMG, it hurt so bad. TONSILITIS! Went back to the doc and got a jab. INJECTION lagi! But yea, still having a lil sore throat but am recovering. Guess I'll be fine by examinations.
Talking bout examinations. Teruk man, I actually brought the whole stack of books back to Penang and I was doing Maths in my aunty's house. My uncle, who was a Math's teacher came and tell me "Aaron, to suceed you need 99% hardwork and 1% luck". Total LOL, means no choice, have to study kau kau. Haha. So yea, came back to Ipoh, got some more red packets and a day closer to A009! Good luck people! Just came back from reunion dinner and I'm half drunk thanks to my uncle. Haha, and I still have Programming to settle with. Till the next post, take care and God Bless. Happy CNY!

My as well.....
Friday, January 23, 2009 21:15
Stuffs just turned out to be different these two days.
Mixed feelings but they're more on the sad side I suppose =(
"The greatest gift you could give someone is time" which sounds so nice, so meaningful but am I trying to be that 'someone' to provide 'someone else' that particular gift. Am trying and I guess the rest are better left untold.
Many times when you let people down, many times when you wanted to change but things just don't turn out to be how you want them to be.
I take them as challenges, as obstacles in life and there are more of them ahead. Things get worse when you are not doing your part. There are even times when you actually hate yourself though.
Well, there are stuffs that are better left untold as I mentioned earlier. Even when I don't blog about it but there are times where....
"Over my Candybar . For me to know . For you to guess . " that means so much.

Inter-class Talk Show Competition 2009
Saturday, January 17, 2009 23:16
As promised, today's update would be on the Inter-class Talk Show Competition 2009 which was held last Friday. And if you remember, we had "The Crappy Show" on Christmas Eve last month :

The poster looks kinda familiar right? Yeap we had "The Crappy Show"(Xmas Special) for Public Speaking. Once again, for those who are lost, we had this talk show assignment for Public Speaking where we were supposed to come up with a topic and of course, a talk show! You know, like "Whose Line is it Anyway" or "The Oprah Winfrey Show". And we came up with "The Crappy Show" where we have :

Aaronsubramaniam @ Mutusamy as the host

Daniel as Mr. Curly Singh

Yan Ming as Ms. Tong Sum Pa

Li Wen as Ms. Ong Ah Hua
Once again, the title for our show was "How to spend one million dollars in a stupid way". Did the show during Christmas Eve and we really did enjoyed it. But somehow, that was not it. We were one of the four teams chosen for the Inter-class Talk Show Competition 2009 which was held in DDK1 last week. So yea, with all our efforts and all, Praise God!
And this time, it was New Year's Special with new banners and stuffs. Sorry people for making you all to spend so much =( And thanks to those who supported all the way! Love you people! All those sleepless nights and all, really appreciate everything you guys did! And yea, last Saturday was the big day with another 3 groups. Let the photos do the talking aite?

So here you are, "The Crappy Show"(CNY Special!)
Okay, and remember I mentioned bout the commercial we had? Please refer to my previous posts for more information. i even have the whole video on my previous post. So once again the commercial is somehow like a superhero commercial where we called it "Dramatic Four". Even that changed from Xmas Special! to Chinese New Yeat edition. So here are the posters!

The Christmas version!

Chinese New Year version!
The "Dramatic Four" idea actually came up after we planned to have a movie preview for our talk show instead of those normal adverts. And somehow, we wanted to make it original and funny. So, here you are!

We were actually quite worried before the competition but once again, Praise God! Luckily we did not reject the offer cause I am sure this competition really brought us together, especially my classmates! Thank you people once again! Here are the photos, and before I forget, we actually had something extra for "The Crappy Show"-CNY Special! that is the God of Prosperity.
The night before the competition at my house :

The competition was held the next day and I was so so nervous! But we had supporters! I would like to thank them as well!

The other teams did quite well but I guess we were okay, we managed to get 3rd and we were against Kumara's team. His team was quite cekap, love those jokes. Yeap, I looked quite disappointed the other day but it's normal la. Aaron is like that but I'm totally alright now! Third placing aint that bad right?

Once again, I would like to thank every single one of you who made our talk show possible, even from the beginning! Thank you Ms. Chuah for actually giving us this opportunity to work together and have fun. We really hope you'll enjoy teaching the next batch of students like how you enjoyed teaching us. Thank you to my groupmates for baring with me, all those stupid ideas and stuffs. Really enjoy working with you people! Special thanks to my classmates for helping out! Especially Toufu as the God of Prosperity, Clement for AVA, Anna for photography and the rest for helping out-Lui Gor, Pooi Sian, Fye Yeh and the rest of you. Really do appreciate every single thing you people did for us! As I mentioned earlier, this talk show competition really did brought us closer to one another. Praise Him once again! And we shall let this bond to grow yea?
Not sure what my next update would be on but I guess I wont be updating for a while as exams are near, VERY NEAR! And I am so not prepared! So good luck people! Went for cell meeting earlier with fellow UTARians in CGBC and it was really fun. Am looking forward for the next meeting and Adrian could not stop making me laugh! Teruk guy la! Anyway, till the next update, tcare and God Bless!

Toufu and Kuan Cheng's Birthday Celebration!
Sunday, January 11, 2009 10:32
Last Tuesday was Toufu and Kuan Cheng's birthday. Sorry I did not blog about this post till today. Haha, so we had this celebration at my house. 1595 became a warzone on that day la! So with lots of planning, we also had lots of fun. Sent the birthday boy back home after classes and we started to go around Kampar to hunt for stuffs. Took us like few hours to settle everything. Everyone was there by 8.30pm I guess and I was too 'free', thought of going to Esther's house to wish Kumara since it was also his birthday. Go there and came back with coselaw all over my body! Ewww, gotta bath after that.
So we started to eat, 132 bucks of pizza. GOSH! And we have this loving couple around thou. Guess who?

Let's forget bout this couple stuffs. Done with eating, my friends started to play cards. And where was I? Was outside planning. Wow, all those cekap plannning! Haha, so they were playing cards :
Now the fun comes! Birthday boy comes out, sing birthday song, make wishes and then CHAOS!!! I'll just summarize everything we had planned for the birthday boy here aite? First it was the magic candles where they wont go off even how hard you try to blow them. Next it was time for 500g of cream! Thirdly, we have a bucket of ice water + detergent then we have flour and lastly we have TOUFU! I mean those real toufu that you get in TESCO! Ewww, and some random pics from that day, enjoy!

Yeap, everyone enjoyed playing with flour and all. Let's see what these people got to say :

"Play with flour some more and I'll throw this slipper at you, wanna try? *smile*"

"Cekap la, now I really look like Kusanagi! Thanks guys! *thumbs up*"

So anyway, was so dirty that I decided to bath. Bathed and came down, took Clement's motorcycle and went to Kumara's place. GREAT! It was photo taking time, they tarik me inside and I was all wet! Kena splashed with water and all. Seriously, I bathed like 3 times that night! Pity Westlake's laundry service man! =P. Okay, done playing and it was time to clean up which was the hardest part but still there were people around, they just love to SS la!

Done with everything, went out to Ghany for supper and we had to get up at 6am the next morning for the orientation programme. Once again, Happy Birthday Toufu, Kuan Cheng & Kumara. And I'm trying to get the photos from Kumara's birthday. Till the next post, tcare and God Bless!

New Year Celebration 2009!
Saturday, January 10, 2009 21:27
Sorry people for not updating for so so long. Been a busy week! Will start today's post with the New Year celebration at Seu Sin's place. It's 2009! What are your New year resolutions? Have a great year up ahead aite? So it was the 31st of December 2008 which was the last day of 2008. We had BBQ and the last time we had BBQ was at Toufu's place last sem.
It was a busy day thou but anyway it was a 'perfect' celebration. Perfect as in the whole class turned up. Was really happy to see them there especially 'God'! Somehow I am very glad to have these people in my life, was browsing through the photos we took during Sem 1 and compared to our relationship back then, it is just so so different. Love them! Who turned up for the BBQ you asked?

Sorry if i left anyone out cause I do not have the photos. Sorry people! And yes, I was so so hungry that night and I am very sure that the rest are too. And you know it's BBQ so we had to wait and stuffs. We were like "Faster man! My stomach's crying!". But it was superbly fun! Those lame jokes and stuff. And not forgetting, 'blasting' those speakers were so fun and satisfying. Haha, special thanks to Bong, Toufu and Clement. Cekap speakers and sound surround!

Since we had a few motorcycles and cars, we decided to 'ronda' around Westlake and started to wish strangers HAPPY NEW YEAR! The 'cekap' thing is those driving the cars and those riding the motorcycles were all newbies, including me! Yeap, accidents happen and thank God it was not that serious. Take care la, Brother Looi. "Ingatlah orang tersayang!" =P
So it was near 12am and we went to Westlake. the funny thing is that it was already over 12am and we still decided to scream! Beers, sparkling juice, party sprays were everywhere. Happy New Year, people! Done with the screaming and it was photo taking time! My favourite! Haha, enjoy!

Okay, and before I get 'flamed', the girls did not drink, they only took the beer bottles because they were 'drunk'! Haha.

Done with photo taking and we went back to Seu Sin's place and we had this sharing session where I used to have during my days in high school. Sorry for having it so late at night and I am really really sorry that it ended at 4am, it was a huge group. I always know that sharing sessions do bring those involved closer to one another. Thank God it was a holiday the next day! So anyway, best wishes from me and Happy New Year to all of you!
